Role Overview

As Director – Health Pricing & Strategy, you will lead the health insurance pricing strategy across retail and group products. You will drive profitability, product innovation, regulatory compliance, and collaborate across teams to build scalable, tech-driven pricing models.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Pricing & Profitability

• Own pricing strategy for retail & group health products.
• Ensure pricing models align with business growth and competitiveness.
• Track and optimize profitability through data-driven insights in pricing, product design, underwriting, and fraud detection.

2. Product Innovation & Compliance

• Develop product solutions for new/underserved segments.
• Lead regulatory filings and ensure all product designs are IRDAI compliant.

3. Growth through Differentiation

• Identify white space opportunities to drive revenue via product/pricing innovation.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate closely with product, underwriting, analytics, and sales teams.
• Influence the underwriting engine and digital customer journey designs.

5. Technology & Data Integration

• Embed pricing and risk logic in platforms using data science and tech tools.

6. Team Building

• Lead, coach, and grow an expert actuarial team.
• Balance execution with developing future actuarial leaders.

Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years of experience in actuarial health insurance pricing
• Actuarial qualification (near or fully qualified)
